Location: Baghdad – Head Office


Job Description

The Application Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the Odoo ERP system as the company’s core business application. This role ensures Odoo is optimized, integrated with daily operations, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. In addition, the manager will supervise other business applications (CRM, HR, Finance, Sales, Inventory and collaboration tools) to ensure smooth operation, integration, and performance.

The manager leads Odoo-related projects such as upgrades, integrations, customization, Data daily Backup and workflow automation, while also ensuring application security, user support, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Management
    • Administer, configure, and maintain core business applications (ERP, CRM, HR, finance, collaboration tools with all related departments).
    • Monitor system performance and ensure application availability, security, and scalability.
    • Coordinate upgrades, patches, and integrations with minimal disruption to business operations.
    • Develop and maintain system integrations (APIs, connectors, automation tools).
    • Perform database queries, reporting, and troubleshooting.
    • Ensure application security, user access control, and compliance.
    • Document system changes and create technical guides for end-users.

 

  • Business Support & Improvement
    • Partner with department heads to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve workflows.
    • Ensure application usage aligns with company policies and compliance requirements.
  • User Support & Training
    • Provide support and training to staff on system functionalities.
    • Manage application-related incidents, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions.
  • Vendor & Project Management
    • Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers.
    • Oversee implementation projects and coordinate testing, documentation, and change management.
    • Negotiate licensing, renewals, and service agreements.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

·       Proven experience in application or ERP/CRM system management.

·       Strong knowledge of system administration, database management, and application security.

·       Experience in system integration and process automation.

·       Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in IT or Business Administration.

·       Certification in ERP/CRM systems (Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).

·       Experience in managing cloud-based applications and SaaS platforms.

·       Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools.
