Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Analysis & Market Intelligence
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis.
- Identify emerging trends, customer behavior, and untapped opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to inform product, sales, and marketing strategies.
Strategic Planning & Product Strategy
- Develop and implement product strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Define clear KPIs, segment target markets, and prioritize growth opportunities.
- Plan product launches, promotional campaigns, and lifecycle initiatives.
Sales Liaison & Business Alignment
- Act as the bridge between sales teams and business leadership to ensure alignment on targets and strategies.
- Collaborate closely with sales to interpret market data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
- Drive execution of business plans through actionable product strategies.
Team Coaching & Performance Management
- Coach and mentor sales and marketing teams to improve performance and achieve targets.
- Support sales in territory planning, account prioritization, and segmentation strategies.
- Monitor team KPIs and provide actionable feedback to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
KOL Engagement & Stakeholder Relations
- Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
- Leverage insights from KOLs to refine product messaging, positioning, and commercial approach.
Competitive Analysis & Market Positioning
- Track competitor activities, product offerings, and promotional strategies.
- Recommend differentiating initiatives to maintain competitive advantage.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Support product development, enhancements, and launches.
- Manage product performance from launch to maturity, adjusting strategies to maximize adoption and revenue.
Branding, social media & External Communications
- Develop and implement branding strategies to strengthen product awareness and perception.
- Leverage social media platforms to engage healthcare professionals and the market effectively.
- Monitor brand health and adjust messaging for maximum impact.
Internal Marketing & Knowledge Management
- Drive internal marketing campaigns to ensure employees understand products and strategies.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and training to empower sales and cross-functional teams.
Message & Value Proposition Development
- Develop clear product messaging, positioning, and value propositions tailored for target segments.
- Ensure consistent adoption of messaging across sales, marketing, and external communications.
Qualifications
- Pharmacist.
- 3–5 years of experience in product management, pharmaceutical marketing, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, market segmentation, and KOL engagement.
- Deep knowledge of the Iraqi pharmaceutical market.
