
Job Description
The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of sales representatives in the assigned territories, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, compliance with company policies, and continuous development of team performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Supervision & Management
- Supervise sales representatives in assigned territories to ensure achievement of sales targets.
- Monitor field activities and ensure proper execution of sales and marketing plans.
- Provide continuous coaching and guidance to the sales team to improve performance and ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular joint field visits with the team to evaluate performance and identify opportunities.
- Review sales reports and share key findings with the Sales Manager.
- Participate in training programs and ensure proper onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Act as a link between sales representatives and the Sales Manager.
- Ensure continuous follow-up, monitoring, and regular reporting.
- Focus on daily operations and effective field execution.
- Report directly to the Sales Manager.
2. Business Support & Improvement
- Build and strengthen relationships with distributors (customers).
- Provide insights and analysis on market dynamics and customer needs.
- Support the development of strategic sales plans through field intelligence.
- Ensure optimal coverage of assigned territories.
- Conduct regular and structured visits to healthcare providers to ensure effective territory coverage.
- Provide customers with accurate product information and prescribing guidelines, while delivering professional presentations and product demonstrations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical market dynamics and sales techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Ability to analyze reports, identify trends, and propose solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in sales, marketing, or medical training.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within and/or outside Iraq.
