Quality Manager

Job Purpose

Manage and develop the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with local and international standards (GMP, GDP, ISO) and achieve the highest levels of quality in processes, products, and services.

 

Reporting Line

  • Reports to: Head of Operations
  • Supervises: Quality team, QA officers, QC staff

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.
  • Monitor internal and external audits and address findings.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
  • Supervise Supply,  storage, distribution, shipments and temperature monitoring activities till being released to the market.
  • Manage customer complaints, product recalls, and quality investigations.
  • Prepare regular reports on quality performance indicators and submit them to senior management.

 

 

 

Authorities

  • Approve quality-related policies and procedures.
  • Stop any operational process in case of risks to quality or safety.
  • Communicate with regulatory authorities or clients on quality matters.

 

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

  • Audit results: Zero critical findings.
  • Percentage of deviations and CAPA closed within timelines.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of quality reports.
  • Customer satisfaction with quality standards.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Science (mandatory), Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Quality, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, ISO, and international quality standards.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
